Earlier this month, Nest & Sprout introduced Nine Clothing to our maternity and baby boutique, starting with a small collection of their breastfeeding-friendly tops. I discovered Nine Clothing on TikTok a few years ago… that feels strange to say, but it was early in the pandemic, and I have been curious about trying out this Canadian maternity brand.

Nine Clothing Hoodie – Breastfeeding Hoodie for Expecting Moms

We have long carried Cadenshae hoodies as a staple to the postpartum wardrobe of Northern BC parents, but I wanted to try something different and add a new breastfeeding friendly hoodie to the shop with Nine Clothing.

The Nine Clothing Hoodies are different than the Cadenshae hoodie, it is more a hooded long sleeve shirt feel, with a cozy close to body fit. Made with beautiful textiles, and length in the arms and bodies, this top is designed to support you in maternity and post-partum.

I do find that the sizing is a touch small, I sized up – and that I didn’t love the fit of the zipper across my body. However, many of you have come to try on the Nine Clothing hoodie and loved the fit and comfort that it offers. Their hoodies come in many colours, and if this is a product you love – Nest & Sprout will continue to carry it.

Nine Clothing Tank Top

A classic boyfriend style tank, this nursing top features a hidden zipper directly across the upper breast. It is made with a stretchy material, and a looser fit. The XXL was a great fit and comfort on me. This would pair nicely with your favourite pair of full panel maternity shorts for summer comfort.

Koallac Tops

Koallac is another product line by Nine Clothing that is designed by the team, but manufactured abroad. These breastfeeding friendly tops are all adaptable for pregnancy and postpartum with hidden zippers along the side seams. Unfortunately, Koallac is only available in XS to XL.

This top has nice length to it with a curved panel giving you that versatility in your pregnancy and postpartum body. The zippers in the side seams of the top may be a challenge for some nursing months, but the simplicity of design for pregnancy makes this a gorgeous addition to your summer wardrobe.
