    This collection covers size 10–12 years, 12Y, and 152cm — including size 11, which is one of the rarest sizes in kids' clothing and lands here when it comes through.

    Welcome to the tween zone — and honestly, one of the most frustrating size ranges to shop for. This is often where boutique brands tap out, leaving you with older favourites like Ivivva and box store staples like Old Navy, George, and The Children's Place. We get it. It's not ideal. We try our best to stock what comes through and flag it as clearly as we can.

    A few things worth knowing about this size range:

    Youth sizing charts are arguably less defined than baby sizing — and that's saying something. A size 12Y can be a large or an XL depending on the brand. For girls, the crossover to women's sizing often happens here — a women's XS frequently matches a girls' 12Y in the waist, though women's styles will have more length, breast space, and hip room. For boys, youth sizing tends to run longer before the transition to men's, usually around 14–16Y.

    We include women's XS and men's XS pieces in this collection when they've been intentionally purchased for a child — so browse with an open mind. We try to include any additional sizing information in the listing where we have it, but measurements aren't always available for every piece.

    Our honest recommendation for this size range: come in store and try things on where you can. If you're ordering online, our pay-in-store and pick-up options give you a chance to check the fit before you commit — ask us about that when you contact us.
