Teething is uncomfortable — and having the right toy makes a real difference. We've curated a selection of teething toys at Nest & Sprout chosen for safety, effectiveness, and the kind of design that actually works for little hands and sore gums.

Our in-store favourites include Cutie Coolers, the Ritzy Molar Teether, and the Bitzy Biter — each designed for different stages and spots in the mouth, from early front teeth through to the molars that come in later.

What to look for in a teething toy: Safe materials are non-negotiable — BPA-free, non-toxic, and easy to clean. Look for something easy for your baby to grip, sized appropriately to reach where it needs to go, and dishwasher safe or easy to wash with warm soapy water. Avoid teething jewellery — loose beads or fasteners are a choking hazard.

When do babies need teething toys? Teething can start as early as 4 months and continue well into toddlerhood. Even older kids cutting molars at 5–6 years old can benefit from something safe to chew on.
