Children's bibs and smocks are essential for keeping kids — and their clothing — clean through every messy stage, from drooling to first foods to art projects. Different styles exist for different jobs, and we carry a range of new bibs and smocks chosen to cover them all.
Types of bibs we carry
Absorbent bibs catch drool and keep clothes dry, made from soft materials that stay comfortable against sensitive skin. Silicone bibs are built for mealtime — easy to wipe clean, durable, and ideal for messy eaters. Water-resistant bibs add an extra layer of protection against spills and painting messes. Hybrid styles combine features from each, offering versatility for kids who need a bit of everything.
When does a child need a bib?
Many parents start with a drool bib from birth, and bandana-style bibs often stay in rotation for 2–3 years depending on how much a baby drools. Feeding bibs become essential around 6 months when solid foods are introduced.
How many bibs do you need?
It depends on your child's habits, but a general guide: 3–4 bibs for light droolers, up to a dozen for heavy droolers, and at least 2 mealtime bibs for backup during messy meals. Add more as your laundry routine and your child's needs call for it.
