Outgrown is our favourite size: trade in your kid's snowsuit or rainsuit this fall

If like my kids, your kids tried their snowsuit on and it just doesn't off the same range of motion as it did last year - it's time to find those snowsuits a new home. As your local kids outdoor gear shop for all the seasons, we'll help you with the entire journey from buying your snowsuit from you and helping you find one that fits this year.

How it works

Bring in your kid's used snowsuit or one-piece rainsuit (lined or unlined, we take both) between October 1 and 31, and we'll buy it back for store credit worth 40% of its resale value. One-piece only, though — sets and separates don't qualify for the trade-in.

We get lots of baby snowsuits sizes 0-12 months, but we're really looking to boost our collection of secondhand snowsuits from 12 months and up. WE'll talk all children' and youth sizes as we help kids 0-12 find outerwear. 

We'll also hand you a coupon on the spot: 10% off one new snowsuit, rainsuit, rain jacket or rain pants at regular price, your choice. Use it any day up to the end of the year, no rush. We know you might not find the perfect one piece fit depending on your size, so we'll extend the offer to help you upgrade any part of their outdoor closet. 

We're looking for gear in good, usable condition — clean, no rips, zippers and snaps working.

Big kids grow. Gear shouldn't just sit there.

The fine print

Here's what you need to know before you come in:

• Drop off between October 1 and 31, 2026. Items must be in good, usable condition — play-condition gear doesn't qualify.

• Store credit is 40% of the resale value of your item.

• The 10% off coupon applies to one new snowsuit, rainsuit, rain jacket or rain pants at regular price, your choice.

• The coupon is good until the end of 2026, in store only.

• It's non-transferable and can't be combined with other coupons or promotions.
