I bought this sweater in a size 10 and was beyond pleasantly surprised with the fit and quality. I originally thought it would fit my younger son, who typically wears a size 10, but due to the generous fit it also fit my child who typically wears a size 12/14 as well.

The sweater is made out of a luxurious feeling knit and is a more dense knit than I've ever seen in a children's knit sweater. It is thickly/densely woven enough that you don't see through the knit at all, and it blocks a lot of wind and cold air. Although being a higher weight knit, it is extremely soft and easy to wear. My children both have sensory issues and have commented on how comfortable it is. The seams are also secured down in a way that they don't rub or irritate. The print is timeless, and is definitely one of those pieces you will want to pass down for years to come. Due to the generous fit I would avoid sizing up and order true to size.
