Pregnancy and new motherhood are often thought of as the most joyful, exciting, and blissful times in your life—but they can also be difficult and overwhelming. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) are the number one “complication” of birth. They not only affect the mothers who suffer but also the families who care about and rely on them. While there is robust support and treatment options for other illnesses, moms who suffer emotionally are rarely acknowledged and often handed platitudes like, “Sleep when the baby sleeps,” and, “Just enjoy every minute because it goes by so fast.” This can be a lonely and confusing place to be—suffering profound fear or sadness at a time when your friends and family expect you to be happy, radiant, and beatifically calm.

As a therapist supporting women’s mental health and recovery from PMADs since 2003, Suzannah Neufeld is keenly aware of the special needs of women during pregnancy and the first year of motherhood. Synthesizing modern psychotherapeutic research with practical yoga therapy, Neufeld offers a compassionate, acceptance-based approach that meets women (and their partners) wherever they are.

 

Local Pickup & Delivery

In-store Pickup:
Pick up your order in-store anytime during business hours — it's always free. Place multiple orders and we’ll combine them into one bag until you visit. Most pickups are ready within a few hours.

If your order isn’t marked ready but you’re nearby, stop in — we may have just been helping another customer and can grab it for you on the spot.

After-Hours or Local Delivery:
Need your order outside our regular hours? Contact us to arrange local delivery or alternate pickup locations. We’re happy to help.

Shipping is tiered based on your order total. Orders over $150 ship free (excludes oversized items).

Standard rates for orders $50–$149.99:

Orders under $50:

Oversize Items:

Items We Cannot Ship Internationally:

Packaging & Couriers

Courier Service:
Orders ship via Canada Post (or another courier if more efficient). Please allow 4–10 business days for delivery.

  • BC deliveries often arrive within a few days.

  • Eastern Canada may take up to two weeks.

Expedited Shipping:
Choose expedited shipping at checkout. If the final shipping cost is less than quoted, we’ll refund the difference. For special shipping needs, contact us at shop@nestandsprout.ca.
