Our annual Halloween Costume Swap is returning in 2026 — starting early September, we should have vouchers in hand by September 4, 2026. If you participated in 2024 or 2025, thank you — your feedback has helped us make it better every year.

How It Works
Step 1: Drop Off Your Costumes
Bring in clean, gently used baby and kids' costumes to Nest & Sprout at 3049 McGill Crescent, Prince George. Drop-off dates will be announced closer to the event.
- Costumes must be in good condition — no rips or stains. We're holding a firmer line on quality this year, so what goes back out is worth swapping for
- Please limit to age-appropriate sizes, up to 10/12Y, we typically have a hard time connecting older costumes with older kids - but we are open to it.
- We reserve the right to limit the number of costumes per family, and to say no to costumes or accessories — play-condition items may be accepted for the free swap bin only
- Costume doesn't meet the criteria? Donate it instead — it still earns you a voucher
- Prefer store credit? Costumes can go through our regular consignment process instead if you'd rather not participate in the swap
Step 2: Get Your Swap Voucher
For each accepted costume — swapped or donated — receive one swap voucher. Vouchers are valid for any costume in the swap regardless of original value — simple and fair.
Step 3: Shop the Swap
Swap your costume the day of or come back another day. Costumes are dropped off regularly throughout the swap period, so there's always something new to browse. Online costume shopping during this period is not guaranteed — in store is your best bet.
Step 4: Redeem Your Voucher
Couldn't find the right costume? No problem. Your voucher is good for one of the following:

🏷️ 20% off your next in-store consignment purchase
Not interchangeable or exchangeable — and a 20% off coupon will get you far in life ;) Terms and conditions apply.
Unused vouchers will expire after the swap period ends and will be treated as a donation to support the program.
