Deep-cold gloves aren’t cheap.
If there’s one product that I truly believe price aligns with warmth and function - it’s winter mittens or gloves because here craftsmanship truly shines as brands pull together incredible quality materials to create comfort at -25C.

We love the price point of -15C mittens and gloves, but if you find they aren’t cutting it for your kid because of their metabolism or activity needs, then you might need to check out the next price tier of gloves (or maybe add a warmer regular to them).
What makes a glove warmer? It is premium grade materials and insulation densities that allow for both breathability, water resistance, and comfort. But this week on the ski hill, with –20°C temps, our kids are wearing Reima… yes, they’re about double the price, but the performance backs it up and the past two winters my kids never complain about cold hands.
One thing that makes the Reima gloves unique to other products is they use a Hipora® membrane; which if you’re in the adult gear space you might be familiar with. If not, it uses a microporous structure that allows moisture vapour to escape while keeping snow and water out; giving you all day warmth.
If you’ve been struggling to find a glove that truly works—or you’re looking for something larger than Stonz—the Reima Tartu is an excellent option, with sizing up to 12/14Y, which fits many small adult hands. The Reima Ote Mitten is available to a size 8-10Y
Some sizing in the Reima Ote is sold out, but we do have plenty of stock in store and online available.
