Boot bags are like a mittens for your child’s feet. Earlier I talked about why I prefer them to boots for young walkers under 18 months. Unlike stiff boots, they’re cozy, flexible, and built to keep out snow, wind, and cold.

Parents use them in strollers, car seats, and baby carriers, where bulky boots aren’t practical or safe.

At -25°C and colder, boot bags often work better than boots because they:
