Over $17,000 Shared with Local Families in Prince George, BC

by Bailey Bouwman
A small but mighty impact over the past 5 months, as we've actively paid out in cash or store credit over $17,000 to local families because 30-40% of each sale is given back to the OG owner to put towards their next need or want. We sometimes pay out 50% on high demand & high value items.
We're not thrift - we're consignment, it's different. It sometimes means higher prices to accomodate that profit share & paid employees, and the immense amount of supplies needed to resell things.
Consignment has moved to appointment only to ensure we don't have a crisis happen again. It means we are taking less and expecting more.
And I've got a load of laundry running in the background because as much as I try to set limits, sometimes I just need-to clean it and put it out for another life. We've had a few drop offs of bigger kids girl, and newborn girl lately - with of course some mixes of boy. That's online - with new additions rotated into the sales floor regularly. If you cant' find it, just ask - we might have it squirreld away in overstock.
