New Product: LouLou Lollipop Silicone Tableware
Couple weeks ago, someone asked us to bring in a well known silicone brand; but you can purchase that at the other baby-shop in town, and we knew that there was something better, something different out there. So we started the research process and discovered LouLou Lollipop.
And as a person who had such popular silicone plate, I can tell you my kids figured out how to remove it from the table... what you needed was just simple non-breakable tableware for baby.

LouLou Lollipop comes to us from Vancouver, as a locally designed product with a wide selection of products and options. We started with their divided plates, bowls, and cutlery, but we'd love to know if you want us to stock other great finds from this brand. The LouLou Lollipop Design Philosophy
Loulou LOLLIPOP began out of necessity: When Eleanor's daughter was teething, she couldn't find a teething necklace that was well-designed and well-made. So she created one herself.
Today, our design process is still guided by the same philosophy. We asked ourselves what do families need? Can we make it better? Can we do it in a refreshing and interesting way? And can it be made more sustainably?
We value quality over quantity, and we don't rush the design process. In fact, our new silicone kids tableware collection has taken almost two years to develop from the ideation to the final production. We embrace trial and error, and we challenge ourselves to find creative, practical, and sustainable solutions to families' needs.
We have chosen to exclusively work with factories that are amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) audited, and ISO14001 certified so that you can guarantee our products are sustainably, responsibly, and ethically made. The amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is designed on the basis of labor standards of the (ILO) International Labour Organisation, the UN Charter for Human Rights, and national regulations. It is an industry-driven movement that aims to help a business monitor its supply chain to ensure that all suppliers are treating workers ethically and legally. ISO14001 is an internationally recognized standard related to environmental management that helps organizations to implement an EMS system to measure and minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment. By ISO14001 certified meaning, the organization is compliant with the standards and has continually worked towards a more environmentally friendly and sustainable practice.
Why Silicone
Health Canada says, “Silicone rubber does not react with food or beverages, or produce any hazardous fumes.
”Silicone is a polymer mostly made from silica (sand) oxygen. It can withstand heating and freezing without leaching or off-gassing hazardous chemicals – unlike plastics utensils, which contaminate food in these environments. Food grade silicone is durable, soft like rubber, and unbreakable and often referred to as ‘soft glass’ due to its resilience, non-porous surface, and sustainability. It is odor- and stain-resistant, hypoallergenic, and because of its smooth surface, very easy to clean.

I am always putting dinner plates back in the fridge for later, and the LouLou Lollipop Divided Plate comes with a lid, making it perfect for storage, less plastic wrap, and keeping food fresh as long as possible.
