Fill-A-Bag Event — November 26, 2025
Fill-A-Bag Event — Back for a Limited Time!
All Day Wednesday (and Thursday if anything is left)
We’re bringing back our Fill-A-Bag event for a short, mid-week run — all day Wednesday, with a possible continuation into Thursday depending on stock.

How It Works
-
Pay what you can.
No policing, no limits, no stress — just community giving and clearing out categories we’re overstocked in. - We’ll have bins of used kids’ clothing from 3 months to 14Y.
- Recommended donation: $5 per small reusable bag.
- Please bring cash.
What You’ll Find in the Buckets
These buckets are filled with the things we have copious amounts of — the categories that pile up faster than they sell.
Expect to find:
- Sweatshirts & hoodies
- Sweaters & knits
- T-shirts & long sleeves
- Play-condition clothing
- Everyday basics we’re overloaded in
If it’s something we rarely have or that sells quickly, it won’t be in the bins. This event is about clearing out the racks of items that haven’t moved, making space, and giving families access to clothing at a price that feels fair.
That’s why this is truly a pay-what-you-can event — fill a bag and donate what feels right for you.
Important Space Note
Our shop is very cozy.
To make room for the bins, some items may be temporarily unavailable or tucked aside unless requested.
Thank you for your patience — I’ll be getting creative to make the space work!
Where the Money Goes
All money collected will be donated to the Prince George Salvation Army to support the local Food Bank.
Food bank visits have hit record highs across Canada, disproportionately affecting women, children, and seniors. This season has been good to us, and we want to pass that forward into our community.
When
- All day Wednesday
- Thursday (only if clothing remains)
- Or simply… until it’s gone
Do I need to bring my own bag?
Yes, please! A small reusable bag is recommended. But if you forget, we’ll figure something out.
Is $5 the set price?
Nope! Pay what you can.
$5 is simply the suggested donation per small bag. You choose what feels fair and accessible.
Can I fill more than one bag?
Yes — within reason. We’re not policing limits, but we are aiming to make sure as many families as possible can benefit. Please be mindful of others.
What sizes will be available?
Kids’ clothing from 3 months to 14Y.
What kind of clothing will be in the bins?
The bins include categories we’re overstocked in, such as:
-
Sweatshirts & hoodies
-
Sweaters
-
T-shirts and long sleeves
-
Play-condition clothing
-
Everyday basics
Items that rarely come in or sell quickly won’t be in the bins.
Is this good-quality clothing?
It’s a mix! Most pieces are in play condition or well-loved basics that didn’t sell. This event is meant for practical clothing, not specialty brands or premium-condition items.
Can I donate clothing for this event?
Not at this time — this event is strictly using existing unsold inventory and overstock to help clear space.
Why cash only?
So we can donate 100% of money collected directly to the Prince George Salvation Army Food Bank.
No transaction fees, no admin — just giving.
Will the rest of the store still be open?
Yes, but space is tight. Some items may be temporarily tucked away to make room for the bins. If you need something specific, just ask!
