December Holiday Hours at Nest & Sprout

December is our busiest month, and we’ve added extra shopping days leading up to Christmas.

Regular December Hours

• Tuesdays: 10am–5pm
  
• Wednesdays: 10am–6pm
  
• Thursdays: 10am–5pm
  
• Fridays: 10am–5pm
  
• Saturdays: 10am–4pm
  
• Sundays: Usually Closed
  
• Mondays: Casual Mondays — we may be open during school hours; always check Google for the most accurate update.
  

Extended Holiday Hours

• Sunday, December 21: 10am–5pm
  
• Monday, December 22: 10am–5pm
  
• Tuesday, December 23: 10am–5pm
  
• Wednesday, December 24: 9am–3pm
  

Holiday Closure

We will be closed from December 25 to January 5.
The shop will reopen on Tuesday, January 6, 2025.

If you’re shopping online during this closure, local pick-up adn shipping will resume once we’re back in the store.

📦 Holiday Shipping Deadlines

Shopping from afar? Canada Post deadlines are earlier than we all want them to be. To give your gifts the best chance of arriving before Christmas, please order by the following dates:

Regular Parcel Cutoffs

• Ontario, Quebec & Maritimes: Order by December 8, 2025
  
• Western Canada: Order by December 15, 2025
  
• Within BC: Order by December 18, 2025
  

After these dates, we strongly recommend selecting Xpresspost or Priority shipping at checkout.

Local Options

We’re normally able to offer some form of local delivery, but this year we’ve simply been too busy to guarantee it. If you’re local and can’t make it to the shop during our open hours, please send us a message:

• Ask about after-hours pick-up at my home, or
  
• We can ship most local orders for around $10 letter-mail depending on the item.
  

We’ll always try to find a solution that works for you.

🔄 Holiday Returns & Exchanges

Returns can be stressful during the holidays — but we do our best to keep things straightforward.
Our request is simple: bring items back as soon as possible.

Our Holiday Return Policy

• Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
  
• Returns within 14 days are eligible for a refund
  
• After 14 days → store credit or exchange only
  
• We reserve the right to decline a return, especially on:
• Final sale items
  
• Clearance
  
• Out-of-season items
  
• Gift cards are non-refundable
  
• Holiday gift exchanges will be accepted until January 31, 2026
  (Ask for a gift receipt with an order number.)

🧺 Quick December Consignment Update

Thank you for your incredible support this year — and for keeping us very, very busy. December brings a lot of volume, and with limited space, we’re making a few temporary adjustments:

• Drop-offs are limited to 20 items
  
• We are not accepting basics (onesies, leggings, shirts) in 0–12 months
  
• High-demand sizes are 2–4 years
  
• Winter gear is still welcome
  
• Please ensure items are neatly folded or laid flat
  
• Your name must be securely attached
  
• Current processing time: 2–3 weeks
  
• No cash buy-outs in December — you may choose consignment or store credit buy-out
