Weekly Email : Holiday pickups, last-minute arrivals & our January pause
It’s one week until Christmas, just a few days left of school, and if you’ve placed an order for in-store pickup, please make sure to come grab it before we close for the holidays.
Otherwise, I'll be holding it captive because we will be closed Christmas Day and through the New Year, reopening January 6.
I could open on Saturday, January 3. But, we'll just leave a day of ease in case highways close and travel timelines. It's easier to to do a bonus day instead of making a promise I have to break. If bonus hours happen, I’ll share them on social.
And honestly? You probably don’t need during the last week week of December and early week of January. We should all be enjoying the quiet lull at the end of the year with friends and family.
- Don’t lose any mittens or gloves
- Make sure you have enough bath bombs
- Plan accordingly for our two-week closure, pick up your orders before December 24th at 3pm
Back to the shop—Olli Ella is arriving today
It looks like one box is caught up in transit and will land tomorrow, but two boxes have arrived today. These will go online as soon as possible and should still make a few last-minute holiday deliveries within the region.

I’ve also had a few people asking about Happy Hippo, so I finally squeezed in an order right at the deadline for the year.
There are a few more things in the wind, but those will be paid up and scheduled for January --- like Souris Mini swim and spring fleece
Consignment Processing Update
I’ve been doing my best not to get sick, and for me that means sleeping as much as possible while ignoring paperwork.
It’s always okay to reach out. We’ve had a few names mixed up here and there, but everything is easy to clear up and track down when we get the chance to know there's an error.
January is always a heavier consignment-processing month for us. It also means we start packing up parts of the store for the season:
- Christmas items will be unavailable in early January and moved into storage
- Winter jackets, snow pants, and boots will also start heading to storage throughout out January.
These categories tend to trickle off after November, take up a lot of space, and we need to make room for what’s next - SUMMER!
Navigating off-site storage is a new frontier for us. Items moved to storage will be removed from the website, then re-released when they’re seasonally appropriate again.
Did you know we tripled our boot sales this year? Absolutely wild. I'm currently ordering for 2026, and thrilled to have supported you with both new and used boots - We sold about 60% new, 40% preloved, and our most popular size this year was a size 9!
Thanks for your patience as we juggle health, space, and the natural ebb and flow of the year.
All the best,
Bailey
