Best Family Friendly Winter Events in Prince George - Christmas 2023

by Bailey Bouwman

With pumpkin patch season behind us, it’s time to start thinking about winter. One of the disadvantages of Prince George is that while we are a small city, we are fairly isolated and our nearest neighbouring towns are a few hours away. When you’re in the lower mainland, it’s easy to do all the things because all the things are smushed together.

This list of things to do this Christmas season in Prince George includes things we’ve tried, things we haven’t tried, and thing you should check out in neighbouring regions. Explore Prince George, BC this winter - and if you need to bundle up your babies or big kids, we’ve got the outerwear to help them stay warm.

This is not an exhaustive list of idea - and many events in Prince George will pop up at the last minute. The last minute nature of our town can make things challenging at times.
