Position Title: Retail Associate
Location: Nest & Sprout – 3049 MCGill Crescent, Prince George, BC
Status: Part-Time (12–15 hours per week) - Tuesday to Saturday, must be available Saturday.

Position Overview
We are seeking an additional solutions-oriented team member who is confident working alone and as part of a team in a retail environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable making decisions, resolving challenges as they arise, and ensuring the shop runs smoothly in the owner’s absence.

Key Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of children’s clothing, gear, and products (often gained through lived experience; bonus if you feel confident pricing and gaging quality for resale.)
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and customer-first mindset
• Previous customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or similar) considered an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 los, and carry on physical tasks such as moving product boxes.
  

Core Responsibilities

• Sort, organize, and manage incoming and existing inventory
• Assist customers with product selection, fit guidance, and checkout
• Maintain daily cleaning standards and overall shop presentation
• Evaluate incoming consignment items according to store guidelines
• Support communication across phone, email, and social media channels
• Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently
  

Position Details

• Starting at 12–15 hours per week (flexible, at this time up to 15 hours)
• Must be available for Saturday - and looking to fill this role for long term including summer staffing.
