Consignment Drop-Offs During November & December

by Bailey Bouwman

The fall season is one of our busiest seasons at Nest & Sprout.

And pair that with an increase in drop offs, our processing capacity is starting to get overwhelmed.  To help us stay organized and keep turnaround times reasonable, we’re putting a temporary adjustment in place for consignment drop-offs through the month of December.

What You Can Bring in

Effective immediately: We’re accepting up to 20 items per household.
Please bring us your best of the best: clean, current-season, and in excellent condition.

We will start accepting summer in February.

Items We Cannot Accept This Month

To keep things running smoothly, please hold onto the following until January:

  • Onesies (0–12 months)
  • Leggings (0–12 months)
  • T-shirts (0–12 months)

These categories are currently oversupplied and we have buckets and buckets of them. We are also very heavy in boys 14/16 years, girls 8-12 years, and generally anything under size 12 months. The sale of winter jackets and snow gear has really collapsed lately, but demand for mittens, boots and the like is up.

Please be mindful.

Important Reminder

Please ensure your name is securely attached to your items or bag.
We currently have a handful of unclaimed bags waiting to be reunited with their consignors.

  • yellow grocery bag full of maternity clothes dropped off early September
  • white garbage bag of baby boy, with small colourful snowsuit dropped off early November

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. These small adjustments help us keep consignment running smoothly during an incredibly busy time. We are definitely behind on many things but appreciate all of your messages and inquiries.
