Tips & Tricks for Online Shopping with Nest & Sprout

Hey Prince George! Nest & Sprout has moved online - for some this changes nothing, but for others it's new. As a mom myself, I know first hand that shopping with kids can be a whole different game, and I also know how frustrating it can be to shop online. 

To try to make both things easier, Nest & Sprout has way too many options and choices at check out. Many of these you need to know about if you're local to us in Prince George, BC! While some are new for our online era, others have excited for years and will continue to be options when we move into a new shop. Follow these pro tips and tricks to make your online shopping experience seamless and enjoyable.

Shopping Online & Picking out Items

To ease your shopping process, we've created a robust system where you can request notifications on sold out items, add products to your "My Registry", and send quick messages from each product page for more Q&A.

By logging into your account, you can even access information about your previous orders - including return initiations. If you provide your email in store, orders should be connected. 

Paying for Your Order

Once you've chosen your items, the next step is to pay for your order. Often Shopify will automatically fill in the last credit card you used but we have more options than that! 

• we can direct bill to AFU
• you can send us an e-trasnfer
• we can do debit on arrival/pick up
• Sezzle
• Paypal

If your credit card information is already auto-filled, and you'd like to use a different payment method, choose "Alternative Payment Methods". This will allow you to pick another option that works best for you.

To use a gift card, all you need to do is input the card number into the discount box, and you're good to go!

Deciding on Delivery Service

On this final checkout page you'll also get to choose how you want to receive your order - do you want to come to me, or do you want to get your order delivered?

If you choose the pickup option, we'll ensure your order is ready at your chosen location. I live by Pine Centre Mall - so it's a really central location for easy pick up. 

If you opt for delivery, we have various delivery options to cater to your needs. You can choose to have your order shipped or locals can have it delivered. Free Shipping offers begin at $125, with Free Local Delivery at $50. During our online era, our delivery radius expanded to about 10km and we will be delivering on Mondays & Thursday's unless we find ourselves in your neighbouhood. 

Need rush delivery in Prince George? Send us a message with your order and we will prioritize. I had it as an option but it kept glitching, so now it's going to be on request or maybe I'll add it as a separate line item if it becomes requested often. I want to help you and you deserve help. 

You can also hold your order - this is great if you're waiting on multiple releases or different products, or consignment shopping with Nest & Sprout. Add the item Hold My Order to your cart and we will hold it. When you are ready for it to ship send us an email. We will refund any excess shipping costs.

You can use Hold Your Order to combine with a friend or family member - just loop me on it and try to use the same shipping addresses.
