What We’re Looking For Right Now (High-Demand Secondhand Items)

by Bailey Bouwman

Y’all have been amazing — truly. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your ongoing support while we navigate this busy season. Your secondhand shop is shaped entirely by what you bring in, and right now there are a few categories families are hunting for every single day:

Fleece bunting suits (all baby/toddler sizes)
Snowsuits — always needed, always selling
Winter boots (all sizes; especially sizes 9–1)
Soft-sole winter booties like Stonz, MEC booties, Reima booties
Wool booties (Padraigs, Emu, etc.) in 6–24M
Boys’ knit Christmas sweaters, especially 3–8Y
Sleepers, especially 12–24M boys
Soft pants (neutral/boys’ cuts in 18M+)
Boutique brands — always popular, always welcome

Still Overloaded:
Please hold off on bodysuits & leggings in 0–12M, as we’re overflowing in this category.

❄️ A Note on Snowsuit & High-Ticket Pricing

Snowsuits are one of our most-requested categories — and one of the most challenging to price. We’re always trying to strike the right balance between:

✨ giving shoppers the best bang for their buck
✨ supporting consignors with a fair return

If you have a sense of what your high-ticket items are worth, please leave a note in your bag or mention it at drop-off. It really helps, especially with brands we don’t see often, and it opens up the honest pricing conversations that keep secondhand fair for everyone.

🎁 Donations Welcome

No account needed — if you just want items gone, we will happily accept donations. Please label as a donation as to not confuse with a bag that has been dropped off by someone intentionally. We have markers in store.

♻️ What Happens to Unsold Items?

We do everything we can to keep clothing in circulation. Unsold pieces are either:

  • Added to our Fill-a-Bag events
  • Donated to local organizations
Often, your generous contributions allow us to send cash donations alongside clothing to support community partners.
